Staff,
The Chicago
2011 Bauer International Invitational
tournament was absolutely amazing. I
wanted to thank you for the opportunity
to witness the grand scale of this
tournament. My younger brother is a
goaltender for the Arizona Hockey Union.
It was his first time to participate in
this tournament as well. From our family
to yours we want to say thank you and a
job well done.

Hey, just wanted to send a
note to tell you we had a
great time at the
tournament. We were worried
about how we
would compete being a weak
AAA team. You guys did a
great job of pairing us up
with teams that we were
competitive with. We didn't
win any but all our games
were close including an
overtime loss.
Sorry I wasn't able to play
in the sled game. I am sure
I would have embarrassed
myself any way!

wanted to email you to say
thank you for such a
well-run tournament. Our
Dallas Ice Jets 2000 team
had such a great time in
Chicago last weekend. You
were all so helpful prior to
the tournament and the
tournament itself was very
well-run. Our hotel was
perfect and the staff there
was so friendly and
accommodating (Hilton Indian
Lakes Resort). We
appreciate the monumental
effort you guys put in to
planning that tournament.
All of our families
expressed an interest to
return again next year! (I’m
sure you are not quite ready
to think of that right now!)

Ice Jets 2000
I wanted to take a moment
to thank you for the
experience of having the two
Russian boys with us during
the Nike/Bauer
tournament. Since we had
not done this before, we
were a bit nervous and
apprehensive. However,
within minutes of getting
the boys (Gleb and
Alexander) to our home all
our anxieties had
vanished.
We all enjoyed learning from
each other and sharing as
much as we could. Yes, the
schedule of games, shopping
and site seeing was
challenging but to see Gleb
and Alexander’s eyes light
up at our U.S. sites/ways as
well as to see our own boys
so enthusiastic at their new
friends hockey abilities...
was priceless!
Please keep our name on file
for the next time this even
comes to town. If possible,
we would enjoy hosting these
same two boys. Thanks to
emails, Skype and the ol'
fashion Post Office, the
Zabawsky family has an
extended family in Russia.

I know with youth hockey
you usually don't get
any thank you's. It was
a good event for our
team. We played 7 games
and got just what we
needed. The event was
very organized. 7000
kids or something crazy
like that. Our 15 kids
came away very happy.

Thanks for doing a fantastic job organizing
the Bauer Invite. Our boys had a great
experience. Sadly, I think this will be my
last tournament (five tournaments later) as
my son’s club hockey experience seems to be
drawing to a close. But hopefully
Montgomery Youth Hockey will be sending you
teams for years to come and giving more of
our kids a chance to participate.

Nice tournament, we had a
blast. Well organized. The
2002 Falcons families all had
fun and were very impressed with
the talent, it was about the
quality of the teams and the
Bauer tournament delivered. Was
very happy with the bracket you
had us in. Very challenging and
kids developed in one weekend.
I just wanted to thank you for letting us in
this tournament. I thought
we competed very well with the teams we
played. All of our families had
a great time. The hard part now is the rest
our season nothing will
match this experience. Thank goodness for
spring hockey!

Despite the youth of my team we

We are one of the families
that hosted Russian boys
this past week for the Nike
Bauer tournament. We are
with the Hawks. I just
wanted to drop you a note to
say that we absolutely loved
having the boys with us. We
host teenage exchange
students for the school
year; so it was a great
combination this week of 2
Russian boys, 1 Italian and
an American.
I wanted you to keep our
name and number on hand so
that in the future, if you
are need in of hosting
families - know that we are
extremely willing. As a
team, we know we will
probably not be in this
tournament again but would
still love to host.

The boy's parents asked that I drop them
off at their hotel this morning, because
Roman had an early flight. The boys are
safely with their parents.
What a great experience this was. As a
parent who has no hockey players, it was
a very interesting look into the world
of youth ice hockey. I thank you for the
