don’t know how you pull it off. Everyone I
spoke to had a great time, regardless of
whether they won or lost. Very well put

A quick
letter to show appreciation to you and your
staff who organize this tournament.
It was our first time attending, and not
only would I go back in a heartbeat, I will
be recommending that the Sudbury Minor
Hockey Association influences the other AAA
teams to attend in the future.
Not only did our boys have an opportunity to
play a very high level of hockey, they got
the chance to play AAA teams they would
never meet in the course of a season. Each
team had a fair chance, and especially in
our division any of the 4 teams could have
advanced and done well.
Refereeing was suspect, but at least it was
bad for both teams each game!

Thanks Kevin, our boys played their hearts
out and some were really forced to raise their
level of play with some of the injuries we
faced. We were a little disappointed we couldnt
give the Huskies a better game in the finals as
they are a really good skating team that moves
the puck well and deserved the win no question
(I thought our goalie kept the score respectable
as he made some great saves).
Thanks for putting on such a great tourney
as everyone associated with our team enjoyed
the visit and the variety of opponents
ranging from California to the Ukraine team.
You guys do a fantastic job organizing such
a huge event and we will definitely try to
make it back next year.

As for the tournament, thanks so much
for giving us the opportunity to play in
such a great event and for hooking us up
with the 97 CSKA team. It was all an
extraordinary experience for our kids
that just happened to have a storybook
ending.
Also, I wanted you to get a special
thanks to your people that went out of
their way to make the week go well. In
particular, Jill was terrific in getting
us ready and being responsive to our
concerns about hosting. Shari (the lady
handling photos and coordinating the
Stanley Cup photo ops) was absolutely
terrific in getting some things done and
jumping thru some hoops for the
Russians, and the young lady (from St
Louis) that was handling IIC-she was a
pleasure to work with and did a great
job keeping order around what can be a
crazy environment.
After we get our boys to their bus today
and we've had a chance to drink some of
the vodka we received as gifts, I'll
send you some feedback we have on the
hosting experience and how to improve
it.

I want to thank you and your staff for
putting on a wonderful tournament. It
was our first time playing and we had a
great time. I would also like to say
that the Pheasant Run Resort that we
stayed in was a great place for a family
weekend. I would recommend it for
future use.

We just returned to
California from our weekend at Bauer
Invite. We have to tell you Kevin, this was
the most enjoyable experience our team has
ever taken part in. From start to finish
you and your team were 110% organized.
Starting with team acceptance letters to
hotel accommodation and all the way through
the scheduling process. Everything ran more
smooth than a military operation. We stand
and applaud the professional nature of this
entire experience.
Despite being a AA team we were very pleased
with our ability to compete with some of the
best U16AAA teams in the nation.
We leave Chicago very proud and excited
about the remainder of the 2010-11 season.

This was the first real big tourney my son has attend (except for a Gotenberg SWE tourney when they were Bantams that I am still paying for!) . All of the teams he played on never went to Bauer, Pikes Peak, Chowder Cup or a anywhere except Las Vegas (which isn’t too bad).
He and I had a blast; the tourney was real tightly run and his team (California Heat 94AA) had a chance to stack up with some real good teams, going 3-1 in the process.
You and your staff should be very proud. Flying out yesterday was a treat talking to all the players at the airport as they compared notes and stories.

I know you are probably still getting 500 + emails a day with the fires:) but I wanted to personally thank you for inviting us to the opening night gala/party and for running an amazing tourney. I talked to friends that I know from Boston, Detroit, NY and a few other places over the weekend and every person that I spoke to could not say enough positive things about THIS tourney and not only how the competition was unbelievable but also how great the tourney was run. A few people said that in well over 15 years of attending hockey tourney's that this was by far the best tournament experience they have ever been part of. I simply wanted to acknowledge this and pass this onto you. You should be proud of what you are doing with this Bauer invite tourney and the quality of teams you are bringing in for it.

Thank you again for a wonderful tournament. Each year you guys continue to find a way to raise the bar. From our hotel stay to the clean arenas and most importantly the games our guys had a great tournament.
Another special thank you for setting up that game against the Red Army. They are quite the team and it was a huge honor to be able to play them.
You and your team's hard work does not go unnoticed and it is clear in the great product on the ice.
Again I apologize for questioning the schedule. We are looking forward to being back next season with our Bantam team. On another note as I know our 2000 had a great time and our 2001 coach is the director of Bauer. I want to see if I can get all Oakville teams to attend so that we can all save money on the travel coming down. Once you guys get next year up and going I will be working on that from this end.

On behalf of the players, coaches and parents of the Waterloo Wolves 2001’s, I want to thank you for such a great tournament! Everything was extremely well organized, from the Opening Night events right through to the final day of action. You guys do a fantastic job organizing such a huge event and we greatly appreciate the opportunity you gave our team to participate. The hotel accommodations (Holiday Inn Rolling Meadows) were top notch with a ton of space for the kids to run wild without disturbing other guests, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
Even though we were only a first year AAA team, our kids played their hearts out and competed with some of the best Squirt AAA teams North America to earn a spot in the Quarter Finals. The Anaheim team we eventually lost out to were a highly skilled and talented team that went on to win the tournament, but we were very proud of the game our kids played against them. I guess having Scott Niedermeyer as their coach didn’t hurt either!
The kids and their families has an absolute blast, and we will definitely recommend this experience to other teams in our organization.

I just wanted to say thank-you to you and all your staff involved in organizing and staffing the 2010 Bauer Invite Tournament. I was thoroughly impressed throughout the planning phases and execution of this large hockey tournament. Our team really enjoyed our first experience at your tournament and narrowly missed advancing to the playoff rounds. The Opening night Reception/Gala was well organized and was a nice way to end the day after a long trip. We stayed at the Westin-Lombard hotel and had an excellent stay. Most of our team had a chance to drive into the city to enjoy a city tour or do some shopping and a couple of families enjoyed the Hawks game Sunday night vs the Oilers.
We hope to see you again next year.
