Your Tournament last year did wonders
for several of our players that got into
a couple of schools via your tourney!
The schools watched our team go to the
finals and loved our players but without
your tourney they would have never been
seen.

After having had the time to reflect on our
Chicago experience, I have to say it was the
best tournament we have ever been too. I
know all the players loved it and
their Chicago Bauer Hoodies hardly come off
their back. It was also worth the 16 hour
bus trip.
We really enjoyed the hospitality we
received and the tournament was extremely
organized and well run. I think the
networking I was able to do as a coach was
more valuable for me than anything else. It
was great to meet so many hockey people from
around the world.

WOW is the word. We had no idea the
boys would do that well. It was a great surprise
to all of us. We were really hoping for one win
and not being outclassed. I guess we are doing
something right down here. Fun was had by all

experience we had this year at

The competition was very good,
the Manager/Coaches Reception
was awesome, and our hotel
accommodations and proximity to
the rink were fabulous! Kudos to
all the staff involved in making
this a great weekend for all of
us, we really appreciate the
efforts.

As a parent attending this tournament for the
first time, I was very impressed. Starting with
our hotel, the Springhill Suites in Warrenville,
where the staff were very accomodating and
always smiling; to the rinks and the total
tournament organization. Everything was well-run
and well-timed. I liked the Pointstreak
scorekeeping too!
We had a great time, the divisions were
amazingly even and the hockey was great!

I wanted to take a moment
to thank you and all of the
tournament organizers, sponsors,
volunteers, etc. for a wonderful
tournament experience. Our Tampa
Bay Jr, Lightning Team 2000 had
a great time playing the teams
in the Squirt Minor division,
and making it to the
championship game was the icing
on the cake! The hotel we were
assigned, The Hilton Northbrook
was perfect... the staff
extremely helpful, hospitable,
and the facility as a whole was
accomodating and convenient to
the two rinks where we played.

Griffins had a great weekend in
Chicago. I want to thank you for
the opportunity to play in your
tournament. Our boys enjoyed
meeting other players from many
parts of US and beyond. The
hockey was very competitive
which focused our players and
will help them to get ready to
defend their International
Silver Stick Championship,
Little Caesar's Championship,
and their Michigan State
Championship.
The weekend started off with a
bang from the reception at Seven
Bridges to the Russian Vs. US
game. All of our parents were
very pleased with the experience
our boys had. This was an
experience of a lifetime, we
hope to be able to let them do
it again!

the boys. 12 year old boys are

families will remember and
cherish. I know personally we'd
do it again in a heartbeat!

Chicago Tour and Black Hawk
Game. A Russian skaters was
invited to shoot the puck during

We could not have squeezed more
in to their 9 days with us…
From what we were told by the
Team Manager Inna, and the Coach
Sergey, all had a great time.
Besides Hosting we enjoyed being
a part of the tournament, it was
very well run for quite a
massive undertaking.

Most of our games were
competitive despite injuries to
3 of our players who stayed
home.
It is always great to see the
best in your age group and it
looked like 99% of the best 96s
were in Chicago this weekend and
that is a tribute to what you
guys have built.

was extremely competitive, and

WHAT A FANTASTIC
TORUNAMENT!!! We couldn’t have
picked a better tournament to
come to.
The level of hockey and the
competition was fantastic.
Everything from the registration
night, special events, hotels,
arenas and your staff were
great. We didn’t run into any
problems, well, except for
Friday night when we ran into
some traffic problems and
arrived at the arena with 20
minutes to game time. But we
made it on time and played a
great game.
We must also commend you on the
website with continuous updates
from the tournament. The coaches
and parents were very impressed
as to how accurate and on time
the website was. Great job!!
Even though we didn’t go as far
as we had planned, to the Sweet
16, we had our chances but
couldn’t capitalize on it. We
ended up with a 0-1-2 record and
won the consolation game. We
also made some great contacts
with other teams in the hopes
that we can set up some
exhibition games in the future.
The team, coaches and parents
would like to thank you and your
staff for the opportunity to
compete at such a prestigious
tournament and look forward to
coming back in 2010. We ask that
you inform us when registration
for 2010 is open so that we can
register early this time.
